On February 12, 2010, as part of the fiftieth anniversary celebration of the formation of the Adirondack Mission, there was a coffee house at St Andrew's, Schroon Lake, with delicious desserts and talented entertainers.

     

In October 2009, St Paul's, Brant Lake hosted a colorful and well-attended quilt show.

 

     
 

FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE
ADIRONDACK MISSION

There was a packed church at St Paul's, Brant Lake, on Sunday, August 30, 2009, as members and friends of the Adirondack Mission gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the regional ministry comprising six churches in the southern Adirondacks. Visitors to Becky's Bloomers in Chestertown on St. Nicholas's Day, December 6, 2008, were treated to an exhibit of many wonderful pieces from Fr. Limpert's extensive collection. There were also beeswax ornaments for sale and St. Nicholas cookies to refresh visitors and shoppers.

On Sunday, March 30, 2008, the entire Mission congregation gathered for a single service at St. Paul's Church, Brant Lake. Following the service, a pot luck lunch and celebration recognized the many talents and contributions of Margaret and Allen Girvin to the life of the Mission.   Pentecost 2006: All of the Mission congregations came together for the Eucharist on the grounds of Christ Church, Pottersville, which had been destroyed by fire several days before.
